We Welcome Volunteers to Help Us Furnish Apartments for New Arrivals
As we continue to prepare apartments with safe protocols. This means open windows and doors while small groups of masked volunteers are working in the space. After furnishings are in place, the apartments are sanitized by the apartment cleaning staff before the arrival of a family. We recently finished apartment #60 for an Afghan family of 9. It was a race to the finish with some amazing stories of finding bunkbeds and a youth bed at the 11th hour from generous donors who were eager to help. Interested in participating with us in the future? Please fill out the Volunteer Form and you will be contacted with more information. We're always seeking bunkbeds for these families. If you have ones you no longer need or other items for donation, you can contack us about that as well
We continue a thoughtful transition to more "in person" experiences. Hoping, to resume fundraising concerts and other events as well as public information forums. Please keep a close watch for events of our partner organizations which we post on this page when possible.

Advocacy for Afghan Refugees
The U.S. military’s imminent withdrawal from Afghanistan means our allies urgently need our help. More than 18,000 Afghans who risked their lives to serve the U.S. mission (and their more than 70,000 family members) are at grave risk if left behind. We are encouraged by the long-overdue indicators of potential evacuation action, but without a comprehensive plan in place, a leader to implement the plan, or an acceptable designated country for evacuation, we cannot stop putting pressure on the White House to evacuate our allies now.
